Parachute Graphics Client Upload Instructions
We accept files created in several software packages on Mac platform, including:
- Adobe Illustrator® CS2
- Adobe InDesign® CS2
- Quark Xpress® 6
- Adobe Photoshop® CS2
- Adobe Acrobat 7
Gather and organize your files. Be sure to include all supoprt files and fonts. You can also convert all fonts to outlines. Files transferred over FTP must be compressed. We suggest both Windows and Mac users use FileZilla, provided here for free.
FileZilla Instructions:
- Download FileZilla.
- Install FileZilla with all the standard options already picked for you.
- Start the FileZilla application.
- In the "Host:" box enter this address:
- files.parachutegraphicsinc.com
- In the "Username:" box enter the code we provided you.
- In the "Password:" box enter the code we provided you.
- Ignore the "Port:" box and click the "Quickconnect" button.
- Your computer's directory will be displayed on the left side, our file server will be displayed on the right.
- Simply click and drag your file(s) from the left side to the right.
- Close FileZilla when complete in order close the connection.
When you enter your username and password, you will be automatically directed to your proprietary directory on our server. Upload time(s) will vary accordingly with the size of the file. Some uploads may take many minutes. If you feel that you are experiencing an error, or if you receive an error message, please call us 972-436-6308 to check your file status.
